Developer Options is a hidden menu in Android that provides advanced features and settings designed for developers. These options allow you to enable USB debugging, view CPU usage, show touch points, and access many other developer-focused settings.
The process to enable Developer Options is the same on most Android devices with minor variations depending on the device manufacturer and Android version.
Open the Settings app on your Android device. You can find it in your app drawer or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear icon.
Scroll down to find 'About Phone', 'About Device', or 'About Tablet' (depending on your device). On some devices, it may be under 'System'.
In the About Phone section, scroll down to find 'Build Number'. On some devices, you might need to tap 'Software Information' first.
Tap on 'Build Number' seven times in quick succession. After a few taps, you'll see a countdown telling you how many more taps are needed to become a developer.
After tapping seven times, you'll see a message confirming 'You are now a developer!' or 'Developer mode has been enabled'.
Go back to the main Settings menu. You should now see 'Developer Options' or 'Developer Settings' near the bottom of the menu or under 'System' settings.
